
Rong Guang Rong
RONG GUANG RONG is an artist and independent filmmaker based in Beijing.
Manchu. At 16, he left home and worked odd jobs in southern China, eventually taking ID photos and studying photography and painting.
In 2011, he renovated a Daoist temple in central Beijing and together with his wife, sinologist and artist Ambra Corinti, established Zajia Lab, an independent art space that hosted over 700 live performances and independent film screenings.
His film Children Are Not Afraid of Death, Children Are Afraid of Ghosts (2017) will premiere at IFFR 2017.
