Grand Prix for Best Film (Competition) went to “The Land of OZ” by Vasiliy Sigarev at the 9th Festival of Russian Film Sputnik nad Polską (Warsaw).
The jury composed of: director Waldemar Kshistek (Chairman), actress Sonia Bohosevich and critic Patricia Vanati recognized the Grand Prix of the festival film by Vasiliy Sigarev “The Land of Oz” for “A masterful bringing to the screen a consistent, true metaphor of contemporary Russian reality, which further by reference to the title Oz is a cry for purity, beauty and hope”.
