Ant!pode is proud to announce that the World Premiere of the film “Lake Vostok. At the Mountains of Madness” by Ekaterina Eremenko will take place at Academia Film Olomouc – 52nd International Festival of Science Documentary Films (April, 25-30). The film is part of the International Competition.

Academia Film Olomouc is currently one of the most important European festivals in the area of popular science film. It aims to present science as an attractive, dynamic and diverse sector through films charting natural, humanities and social science disciplines. The festival takes place in April in Olomouc. It originated in 1966. It focuses not only on current productions, but reviews, and revives the history of the genre in special program sections. Each year, a dominant topic brings together films and guests from all over the world, presenting science as a thrilling adventure.
AFO program consists of international and Czech competition, featuring the best science documentaries from last two years, selected from approx. 400 submissions every year. Specialized juries select the winners of The Best World Science Documentary and The Best Czech Science Documentary, festival visitors choose their best film which is awarded the Audience Award.
