The Lavr Award Ceremony took place in Moscow yesterday. The Lavr National Awards are given to the cinematographers working with documentary films and TV films.
The ‘Best in Profession’ Producer Nomination (Andrey Razbash Award). It is presented by Vitaly Mansky, the ‘antietatist’ (c) Mansky tells the public who is a producer and pretends never to know what is inside the envelope. But this time he really suspects the answer, as well as the public, yelling “Bravo!” The laureate enters the stage. It is Marina Razbezhkina, the producer of 21 Day, Together, A Farm, ZVIZZhI, A Mouse Trap. Irina Petrovskaya: “Help Marina to climb this ‘table’!” Mansky: “Marina can climb even a column!” Marina Aleksandrovna tells that there will not be any money but still there will be films.
The Best Auteur Film Nomination. It is patroned by Eduard Sagalayev, but this year he is ill and the Award is presented by Ivan Tverdovsky junior who has his personal preferences… and it seems that they he is not lucky this time. The award is given to the film Together, directed by Denis Shabayev. The public is ecstatic; more than a half of them are the Razbezhkina’s people. Denis Shabayev, very excited, tells that the film is very personal and Marina Razbezhkina advised him to make this film because a camera can cure.
