COLOR OF MAY

COLOR OF MAY produces documentaries and feature films that are implemented internationally and in co-production. We are interested in stories with a particular view: stories of people who make familiar with the strange and show the familiar in a new light.

Elmar Imanov and Eva Blondiau graduated their film studies at the ifs internationale filmschule köln with their common thesis film “The Swing of the Coffin Maker” (Student Oscar®, more than 100 international film festivals and 37 awards worldwide). In 2013 they founded their own production company with the name COLOR OF MAY and produced the shot film „TORN“ which had its world premiere at the „Directors` Fortnight“ in Cannes. The short film “Three Steps” is premiering in Rotterdam. The company received a scholarship for upcoming companies to watch in the region.

Eva Blondiau was nominated for the renomated award for upcoming talent as “Best Producer” in Germany. She was on the list of the Cannes magazine by Screen International as “Future Leader” as top 40 young producers. She was part of the Berlinale Talents, the emerging producers and is EAVE participant.
