DIRECTOR’S NOTES: The story of ghosts that haunt people unfolds in the present day in the remote and coldest city in the world — Yakutsk. The film was shot in real houses in Yakutsk and its surroundings, in temperatures dropping as low as -49°F. A young woman rents an apartment at a very low price, unaware that ghosts live there. A radio host at a local station comes face to face with a strange phenomenon in a snowy forest. A mentally ill man claims that an old house is inhabited by ghosts. All these stories intertwine into a single narrative, immersing the viewer in the mysteries of the ghosts of the Arctic.
