Taisiya Krugovykh

A video-artist, director, performer and member of the artistic group ‘Gogol’s Wives’. She teaches film history, video art and editing theory and practice. With her partner Vasily Bogatov, film and video director, she has worked with the NGO Memorial and the feminist punk group Pussy Riot. Taisiya and Vasily were subjected to police persecution, which led them to go into exile from Russia. They are living in France since 2022.
