Nigina Sayfullaeva

Nigina Saifullayeva was born in Dushanbe in 1985. In 2005, she graduated from the Russian State University for the Humanities, Faculty of History of Arts, later she studied in the Institute of Problems of the Contemporary Art.  Finally, in 2010, she graduated from the High Courses of Film Directors and Screenwriters (workshop run by Vladimir Khotinenko, Pavel Finn and Vladimir Fenchenko). Her first short, Tag Along (Khochu s toboi), was featured in the competitive program of the Kinotavr. In that film, the actress Lyubov’ Novikova played one of her first roles (later she participated in films Short Stories and The Best Girl of Caucasus).
