Martín M. Oesterheld

Was born in Buenos Aires in 1974.
He early begin as illustrator, activity which later lead him to develop an extensive work as a plastic artist, exposing in Brazilian, Uruguayan and Argentine galleries.
Since 2006 he has focused his interests in visual arts, working in cinema projects around the occupation of public space and its historic consequences. He worked on different supports as the performance “Ricky and the Bird” with Lola Arias, the video installation “To the defense” with Julián D’ angiolillo and the short film “Transit” released at CCCB (Contemporary Cultural Centre of Barcelona) during the Eme3 Exhibition in 2012, among others works.
In 2011 he created his own production company Los Andes Cine to work on documentary and fiction new perspectives.
His first feature film “Crowd” (2013) made an important way into international festivals passing by Cuba, México, Uruguay, Argentina, Perú, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, France, Germany and Spain. The film also participated in important International Cinema and Contemporary Art Exhibitions as “Les Reencontres Internacionales pour le noveau cinema, PARIS / BERLIN” and “A Multitude”, located in the Art Centre Sesc Pompei in San Pablo.
